About us

Who we are

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.

We started extending help to needy children and youth who were eager to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged children who needed help with food, shelter and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.

We now run shelter homes, schools and a reasonable mess that helps such needy young people. We also have our helpline offices spread throughout the country so one can approach us anytime they need help.

Our Approach

Our Mission Statement
To empower marginalized youth in Ghana through education, vocational raining, and holistic support, enabling them to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future.
Our Vision
FirstGen Educational Foundation is a nonprofit organization established to empower underserved youth in Ghana, particularly those aged 12 to 24 who face homelessness, drug use, or lack of access to education. Our mission is to provide these young adults with opportunities to acquire fundamental education and vocational skills in a nurturing and supportive environment. By constructing a school and boarding facility, we aim to transform lives through education, skill development, and community engagement. Our unique approach integrates basic academic education with vocational training, such as farming and other practical skills, ensuring students are equipped to pursue higher education or join the workforce. We seek sponsorships, donations, and strategic partnerships to bring this vision to life.
